Can't go online - docs pending review

Inspection / registration sticker expired end of month, so last Thursday got it inspected, paid registration, put the new sticker on and uploaded photo on uber app.

Went to drive, but it won't let me go online, sends me to doc page saying docs are out of date or pending review.

First of all, it's the last day of month, my car would still be legal & valid with the old sticker. Second, how the *** long does it take to look at at an uploaded photo and verify the inspection/reg sticker matches the license plate.

Totally uber incompetence once again costing me money.

Uploaded 5 days before expiring, is that procrastinating?

Even if I didn't renew inspection/reg, my car would still be legal today with old sticker. Yet I can't log in.

Sry, not procrastination. Uber incompetence. If you feel you need to upload docs a month before they're due, just means you've adjusted & support their incompetence.

Its actually a 5 day grace period. So still technically expired.

My insurance expires August 1st and I am wondering if I should upload it now, or wait. I mean, if I upload it now, then my insurance won't be in effect until August 1st. So, Uber reps my assume I have no insurance. I am so torn about what to do.

But yea, too bad they couldn't steal photo recognition code from google when they stole the self driving car designs. You would think they would of found a way to scan a document for a number and have the computer update automatically using at least OCR.

I was just talking about this on Zello. I was pretty happy because I had to update my insurance with Lyft and they took literally less than two minutes to approve the new one. My old insurance expires on the 18th. I also didn't have the same problem I've had with Uber in the past where they put the new one in but then told me I didn't have insurance because the old one wasn't in there anymore. For what it's worth this has been an ongoing issue in the past and the best thing to do when you need to update something is do it a week ahead when you don't need to drive for a couple of days so then when they screw it all up you have a couple of days to get them to fix it. If you wait till the last minute the best thing to do is to go to email them directly through help and just keep raising hell and ask them to send it to the person who can fix it because if you only do it in the app sometimes it takes days.

And yes I know this is an old post but I'm guessing that sometimes the problem is still there. I mainly just wanted to point out that it seems like Lyft is better at this.

The OP is alive and kicking.
but they pay you less.

It is with uber that's all I'm saying they take forever to do anything. Since you had to renew your sticker I assume you have been doing this for at least a year now so you should know that fact. So you slipped up and now your paying the price and it sux I know. So we all learned something uber is slow uber sux uber could not care less about the drivers lesson learned

-did you respond just to say he should know better (before he's even expired or past due), and then follow that with a defense that amounts to a nihilistic rant about how the entire company and pretty much life sucks? I'm not sure you get the point of these forums...or the intent to help that we want to have for each other and promote in the field and from the company. Keep trying tho! ;)

Oh i see my bad either way uber is slow they suck and they don't care about us the drivers. I'm not saying you did anything wrong The moral of the story is don't trust uber to do the right thing for you or any other driver. One more time so we are clear on this fact uber sucks could not care less about you or me or any other driver. My sticker expires in Oct I plan on getting new one by the end of Sept.

I actually found a way to get hold of Chat Support and they can verify your docs on the spot!

Very easy (needs a laptop / PC though)...Go to the Sign up page and enter flase information, hit Next and choose that you have your own vehicle, Hit NExt and comes the Part where you need to input your SSN.... Wait there and at the right side, you will see a Chat Bubble, click it and fill it up and ull be connected with an agent that will verify your docs on the spot! did that for my TNC

You responded to a year-old post. Check the dates before you bring up old threads and respond to posts from drivers who probably don't drive anymore since most Uber drivers quit well before making it to a year.

My insurance expired 7/2, and I uploaded the new one more than a week prior. In the app, my insurance is current. Online in the driver login website, my docs are accurate and current, but the red warning dot still appears in the menu bar indicating an issue in my profile. I continued to get warning emails and texts until Sunday that my account would be put on hold until my docs were updated, even though my updated docs are active in their system. Now, I am still getting emails and texts that my account is on hold and how to upload my new insurance so I can back on the road. I'm still driving and cashing out while this is going on. Ridiculous.

Somehow i got signed up for uber eats with pending video to watch.
I signed up. I've only had 3 requests. I accepted the 1st two. The first was a decent trip with a great tip. The 2nd really pissed me off. I drove 12 minutes to pick up food. The pickup location was on one side of the frwy. The delivery location was on the other side of the frwy. Less than $3 and no tip. Jerk.
The 3rd request was 17 minutes away. I didn't accept. Haven't received another request in 2 weeks.
