How many ubereats partners here cancel trips and choose can't find eater or no secure location for dropoff for random reasons. I find myself using this more and more as the days go by. People order food using their work address but make you drive double the distance cause they want you to deliver to their house and not getting paid for address change.

Sometimes I'm just like **** it, three free meals a day make it worth it. Yesterday some guy gave me $20 for this as he admitted his mistake and made me drive an extra 4 clicks.

One guy was at 555 Wilson Heights, the address provided was 555 Wilson Ave. After some banter back and forth about my whereabouts I finally realised the mistake and told him. He said ok he'll look into it. This was three weeks ago he still hasn't gotten back to me.

Think he's still looking into it?

So how does it work? If they don't meet you at the location you get to eat the food? How often does that happen?

This has only happen once or twice to be and the last time it happened was 5 months ago (before upfront fares)z therefore, I was willing to drive to the new address given drive I would still be paid.

If it happened today, I wouldn't take it to the new address. I would simply call the Uber Eats 800 number and tell Uber that the wrong address was given and that I don't have time to drive to the correct address unpaid. I would simply drop the food at the location shown on the app regardless if someone is there to pick it up or not.

Uber can deal with the ramifications, since they have changed the rules mid game.

Honestly man fail to deliver happens to me once or twice a day mostly for two reasons, they either want a different address or sometimes I can't reach people or I can't get into a certain building
I only do ubereats and average like 25 trips a day. So it happens quite often to me. Uber policy is to wait ten minutes before canceling the trip. Like I said three meals a day curtosy of Uber.
