Extract (first two paragraphs):

You're less likely to see older cars on ACT roads compared to any other Australian state or territory, new figures have shown.

Recent analysis of data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics by comparison site finder.com.au found just 17 per cent of cars registered in Canberra were models made up until 2001.

Toyota and VW have a large market share in Canberra. Does this mean these are cars to be avoided as you will soon need to replace them? What about the Mitsubishi Mirage, will that need to be replaced sooner or later? Isn't that the scientific method; seeing a coincidence and then testing it to see if there is a correlation. I understand that Uber drivers with 'frog green' cars have higher ratings than drivers wearing 'Canadian red' jackets. I am sure there are research opportunities here that could be in line to win the igNoble prize.
