You should be still getting Priority, I have a 2015 car and get priority trips…..

 

I drive a 2009 shitheap, and that still gets Priority pings , too. I guess if pax are in a rush, it doesn't matter what hooptie picks them up.

Ok, so they merged Comfort and UberX.

But that doesn't mean that those cars which were Comfort cars are still Comfort cars, just offered under the X category now.

No no no!

Several models were dropped from Comfort a few months ago. Search the posts on Uberpeople.net and r/uberdrivers.

My Uber-specific rentals from Zipcar, available in Boston and some other cities, dropped the Chevy Bolt EV I rent from the Comfort category in early 2025. Now only X rides for the same car, and I don't think I get the Priorty rides, either.

Sure, Comfort is still available to certain drivers with cars which still qualify, and as you said will now get offered under the X option.

But some or many cars which had been Comfort eligible are no longer, and won't get offered just because the X category is selected in the app.

I don't know if drivers whose cars were dropped from Comfort were even notified.

At least all of the above is just my understanding.

 

If any of you have the 25 Camry did selecting the camry hybrid in documents show the proper car image or not? I decided to select regular Camry and it still shows the past 2018-2024 image.
Eventually will check in with support when the permanent plates show up as I also somehow ended up with dual vehicles in the system. Was able to delete other past vehicle out of the system.

 

What happened to your sienna its profitable to drive rental?

 

Perhaps uber received complaints by passengers that many of the Camry drivers were driving recklessly, which is believable.
