Call Support and air your concerns.

I did that when I got the Destination reverting back to 2 message from Uber. If everyone decide to ask for the Drop off feature they will be forced to try that again.
I spoke to Support and she said the customary, “Sure Mr xxxxxx we will make a note of that feedback and please do know that we value any and all Partner feedback”.

If 1 driver does that, they will laugh it off. If 10 drivers do that, they will take notice. If 100 drivers do that, well we have a movement in the making.

You almost have it, let me fix it for you..

If 1 driver does it they'll laugh it off, 10 drivers, they'll laugh it off, 100, they'll laugh it off... The only movement will be their bladder from laughing so hard..

I asked them several times to revert destination to 2. Anyone who studied economy in school knew 6 destinations would be a fail.

There is nothing wrong in trying ...... I don't know, you put a lot of time and effort to write stupid stuff on this forum. Why don't you spend 5 mins for some actual benefit. Well it's your call.

So, if 100 drivers out of 300,000 uber of drivers call and complain Uber will take notice. Is that what you are writing. Not!!

Well you are a specimen!!!! Do you have more of you from where you came? Or are you a Unicorn? I meant it as a figure of speech.....dumbo.

If 100 voice is not heard then gotta go up to 1000.

If I'm gonna spend 5 minutes to get a laugh, I'd rather it be people on this forum laughing than people at the Uber office..

Well the point I was trying to make was, first try to get 100 drivers to contact Uber to bring back a failed feature, then let me know if Uber does anything about it. Let me save you some time, they won't, and they won't!

Like Harry said, that fearure was only given to a few drivers, if every driver got it it would be chaos. The feature was intended to keep drivers in certain areas but given how easy it was to take advantage of, it backfired, drivers found ways to stay away from certain areas.

I commend your gesture in trying to help drivers, we need all the help we can get, but some ideas are just not worth the effort. At this point a working destination feature is priority.

Uber won't do anything that compromises them making maximum profits,like their message said it created longer waiting times for passengers,and that is a longer wait for money in their pocket.The other feature that kept you in certain areas did not make sense either,because everyone wanted to stay close to downtown,again creating longer waiting times for pax in the burbs.

I know everyone wants it their way, but Uber is not Burger King.

Dude I know why you so upset about destination feature. After they introduced 6 times I tried and in last week I never got single ride when chose destination. It wasn't even working even if they give 100 a day. It's just a number. East, west feature was good though if working. Reality is you be making more money if keep your options open when you wana go home just choose location and start driving if you get it, it's good otherwise in 20-30 min you will reach home

"While we test rigorously" in IT terms usually means that some suit shouts at a techie "why isn't that effing feature finished yet?, and the techie says "well it does kinda work on my private iphone, so I guess we could release it if YOU want". And then Uber releases it to us with NO CLUE of how it will work. And then they expect us to clean up the bad reputation from the annoyed pax. SMH
