Why, is China in the EU?
Chinese goods do not arrive in UK with a snap of fingers, they cross many countries...EU countries included. Then you have trade deals, of which major exporting nations like China, have regulated their business through the union. Does it not make sense to deal with a body of countries when exporting in mass? The prices and efficiencies we enjoyed for basic goods will simply not apply for non EU states.

So how is Norway an European country but not in the EU surviving? The U.K. will be okay. The many foreigners will be asked to leave and their sons and daughters will have jobs to live

Britain is heading for a disaster, well done leave voters (not that these stupid votes matter as its all predetermined)...you all just willfully dug your own graves. Celebrate the end of pound sterling!

You cant compare these rarely inhabited scandinavian countries economy with a large island of 60 odd million populace. Simply put...there are more mouths to feed here in UK than Norway.

Norway rejected EU membership in its own 1994 referendum. But the country nonetheless has access to the so-called "single market" trade zone -- access for which it pays heavily both in money and by allowing free movement of people and capital.
"We really are, on some issues, more part of Europe, without the decision-making, than Britain is," says the current Norwegian PM.

They just shot themselves in the foot Again! Forget the foreign Uber drivers, European tourists they need to worry about and cheap pound sterling. Tourist flow will slow down, prices will start to rise, people will be spending less and less due to uncertainty. Going on holidays abroad is not going to be so cheap anymore. Difficult times for economy ahead, hence tough times for ph and taxi traded. Brace yourselves black can and Prius drivers, money is about to dry out.

London & the south east generally voted to remain ...
To educate the new comers, England is a little bit more than just London...The real England does exist, just not in the South East....What a glorious day to be an Englishman

there are many arguments why the uk could now feel the pinch. yours however is wrong. the strong pound kept tourists away. the americans used to come here in droves. rather than losing their hard earned dollar by converting it into pound sterling, they opted instead to travel the euro economies. many stop here for no longer a couple of days if at all. expect the tourist trade to reignite. the euro countries will also find visiting the UK cheaper. slower at customs, but cheaper.

What a glorious day, indeed, to wake up to a neo-fascist with bad 'British teeth', Farage, proclaiming 'dare to dream.' The lunatics have taken over the asylum. What is this 'real England' anyway.....
amazing how the accepting and modern thinkers find accepting and moving on so very difficult. thank god the british people didn't believe the 'honest' bankers.
