And my favorite....
I don't need a car seat.
Usually comment is "the last guy let me do it!"
Why do I hear this comment way to much.
Aren't we all on the same team here?
Shouldn't we all be following the same rules?
Just trying to bring some awareness that when you let these entitled [email protected]#holes break the rules you make it harder for everyone else.

Another pet peeve is when someone brags that they do the driving thing and chats me up all trip and does not have the decency to leave a tip. I do the ride share thing as a passenger on occasion when it is not feasible to leave a car where I am heading and always (always) tip the driver. $5 simply for saying "Hello" and $10 if he does ANYTHING above and beyond the call of duty.

Point being if you drive and break the rules, STOP! You can't be that desperate.
And if you need a ride and are a driver.....either appreciate the ride as you would like your passenger to show appreciation for the ride or STFU!!

The passenger is correct about not needing a car seat.

Other then that, I agree with everything else you posted.

Wow. Just found this.
What are the rules regarding child safety seats and seatbelts in taxicabs?

Drivers of yellow medallion taxicabs and for-hire vehicles and their passengers, are exempt from laws regarding car seats and seatbelts. Keep in mind, the TLC encourages everyone in the vehicle to buckle their seatbelts while riding in a cab. There are no Taxi and Limousine Commission rules regarding this, as it is a State exemption. Passengers with children are encouraged to bring their own car seats, which the drivers must allow passengers to install.
*NOTE - Children under the age of seven are permitted to sit on an adult's lap.

Guess I will need a little strategy change on this one.
