When u say bug, do u mean put a tracking device? For arguments sake, can a car owner fro a limo or a black car company bug a car legally?
The proper term would be recording device. Bug brings back memories John Gotti and the NYPDWhen u say bug, do u mean put a tracking device?
I was not aware that you could only used approved cameras... Been searching the website for those camerasYou can have a camera, but you need to have the proper stickers on the rear doors! On the TLC website it has a few camera that are listed there as "approved" so I think you can only used the cameras they approve to record inside the vehicle...
Strange that uber has soooo much control over "independent contractors".I was not aware that you could only used approved cameras... Been searching the website for those cameras
From what I'm reading on this post we might not be allowed to have dash cams unless it one of the tlc approved ones.My dashcam records sound and front facing video. Am I supposed to have a sticker?
Lost me in translationStrange that uber has soooo much control over "independent contractors".
It's not uber, it's TLC...but in NYC, the drivers have been considered independent contractors or owner/operators for a very long time before Uber came along. And keeps the restrictions on the drivers to their affiliated bases, who can hold you accountable to do their work like an employee, but that's another story.Strange that uber has soooo much control over "independent contractors".
