Funny they say Uber is unsafe. When a driver is deactivated it means he is not working. When a cab driver is suspended...nothing is there to stop him impersonating a taxi driver. Zero security on this.

Cabbies don't have control and access to encrypted camera. The only thing they can do is to reset, if it is not working and it will back up automatically.. The camera is always-ON even there is no passenger.

In such event, only Police can access and decrypt video..

Any incident done by a passenger or rider to a driver also gets coverage in the beginning & no follow up by the same news media.

Fact in this case is, the driver and Vehicle were both already suspended when this occurred.

We all have had riders that have started altercations & have negatively complained about drivers to Uber.

I doubt the driver would haved cared about any consequences in that case. Driving under suspension, sexual predator. Why not throw in tampering with police equipment?

It shows a big blind spot of taxi management system. Is Uber unsafe ? I would like to ask..., proof it !
