Ended my good mood. A gentleman in an airport cruiser approached my car and asked me to leave due to me being an Uber Driver.

Today sucked, too. Surges not what was expected and did several drunk fares blocks from their requested location.

Why would anyone be hanging out at the airport now. .65 per mile and zero chance of a surge. Tampa was surging all over today (except the airport).
I was about to state thst myself.
Airport pickups is the most idiotic thing that a driver could do. You might get a nice long trip with all highway miles and the pax might tip $5, you could end up 2 hours from home.
It's a suckers play!

Sure seemed that way to me. His professionalism gave off the possible intentions of ticketing and keeping us out.
how the heck do they have any idea you're an Uber driver if you don't have your phone up in the cradle where everyone can see it?? ...I don't even have a cradle, I drive with the phone on my left leg and an ear bud in the left ear......I'd prefer the world not be able to ID me as an Uber driver everywhere I go with the stupid phone up on a cradle...... if you're sitting there in the cell phone lot, put the phone on your leg, sit there with a book.....no way they can kick you out... you tell them you're waiting for a friend......

Sounds like BS to me.. I am not saying no one kicked you out of the cell lot.. but it wasn't legit if they did.
You all would recognize me in my black Mazda with an Uber light in my front windshield. Many have stopped and talked. I've even had conversations recently in the parking lot with a TPA cop. I don't hide from anyone. It's my right to be here for now. UBER ON!

Better make sure you are displaying the new Uber logo. If you display the old Uber logo you could get de-activated. :)
