This video shot on 9 July 2106, shows bogus fake potently criminal London black cab drivers working in the city.

As we already know the most rape committed by single individual in uk legal history is a london black cab driver question is how common this problem is.

In london you could be walking on to the taxi rank and chance are as this video show that driver is not registered by law, he could be a rapist or violent crimnal.

All aways use electronic booking system don't expose your self to these crimnals.

Wrongs uns pretending to be a Taxi driver is not a new problem and not new to London or any other City in the UK.

They are clamping down on them.

I don't think the situation will be fixed with IDs in the front and rear windows either.

I wouldn't refer to them as "criminal London Taxi Drivers" as they are clearly not London Taxi Drivers.

I can understand the reason for the issue, £££

Same reason as Touts.

But this isn't a Taxi trade issue it is an enforcement issue and licensing issue.

For example it was not unusual for people working for a Cab Garage (renting cabs out) to take a spare Cab out Fri or Sat night to make some extra money.

But using snide IDs and badge/bill is a big legal no no. And will likely get you banged up.

I would point out a few problems with your advice

There will never be the same property appreciation as you have experinced

There are no Council Houses left to buy for next to nothing

The days of Cabbies earning the kind of money they have in decades past are gone, yes they can still graft and make their money but the introduction of Couriers and the rise of the PH trade has had an impact as will Crossrail and the 24 hour Tube.

And also not everybody is solely motivated by financial gain and the acquisition of as much as possible.

You can't take it with you.

One small point.

If the first driver Brooke's the job why was the second Cabbie still there?

Or did he have them the punters going to Burgess Park in his Cab?

After reading some of the tweets on that link it does seem some of the comments were trying to say brooming is something being done by Somalian drivers only.

Which is pure and simple BS, brooming and cherry picking has been an issue in the trade for years.

The Taxi trade even has a derogatory name for the Somalian driver (YB) that work the far end of Chiswick.

I'm in agreement with you about property values not likely to appreciate in general like they did from 2000 to 2007. Also Central London homes feeling the "false inflation" of recent years by money flooding in from you know where.

But likewise shares won't see the same growth as they had before year 2000.

It's not as though Ornes has 20 properties or more, or several hundred like that Schoolteacher couple.
It is good to switch investment money & pension money between different asset classes as some years different types of assets start to fall in value and it's time to get out

For those leaving money with their bank in a fixed rate savings bond, the bank ain't doing them any favours and is making money out of the saver.
Lucky if savings interest covers inflation, mostly it doesn't!

Maybe I'm wrong but I think if someone manages to make money out of any legal business or investment then good luck to them.
After all they are taking the risks by gearing up with their money, and those risks include possibility of going broke
