So just got a message from uber that a paxhole complained that I was falling asleep at the wheel and that if I receive any further complaints I risk deactivation.

The claim is totally bogus and I advised uber that I have internal and external dash cam footage of every trip and asked for date/time so I can retrieve the footage.

Got copy/paste reply that they can't disclose that information and a link to there community guidelines crap.

So it seems that now even if you have irrefutable proof a complaint is false a dash cam can't protect you from false complaints.

Much easier for them to just dissapear you forever, there are 10 000 more ants waiting to take your spot.
Not fair you say, well Not fair is ubers motto when it comes to drivers, you are not even a flea on a rats arse as far as they are concerned and once you accept that fact you will feel a lot better about working for uber.

Trust me, this is not new information to me. The purpose of this post is that it was the general consensus that having a dash cam protects you from these types of claims, when in reality not even that can help you.

I feel for you mate. Many of us have been on the receiving end of bogus claims. In my case I rode it out for an hour and was reinstated. By the way, I did use the callback option and spoke to a real person at the GLH. Good luck.

You can submit a police report and information for the rider etc if you really do have proof and have the footage backed up. Then go ahead and sue the rider once you got his/her info.

"you can sue the person who defamed you (or anyone involved in defaming you) for defamation. If you have been defamed, you usually must sue within the time limit of 1 year from when the material was communicated. "

"When taking a legal pathway, it is important to know that legal action can be very expensive, complicated, and involve unforeseen consequences. If you think you have been defamed, you should see a lawyer.

If you successfully sue someone for defamation, the court may award you money (as damages) to compensate you for damage to your reputation, your hurt feelings, and any economic loss you have suffered. The court may also stop the person who defamed you from publishing defamatory material about you in the future (which is called an injunction)."

And I'm sure you can come up with a number of other charges  worth a look into and it can quite possibly clear that strike you just gotten when you win the case.

They don't want you paying a visit to the rider and it pretty safe bet some drivers knowing who the rider is will go do something :roflmao:
But they do anything to protect their rider information.

What you experience from this rider is the normal report for the rider to get that ride free and the next couple of rides free. Uber doesn't do any investigating and just send you out first and final warning. Another common report is my driver was drunk, drinking while driving and very intoxicated. Then the less common one is my driver sexually assaulted me which this one may lead to a perm deactivation without warning.

Uber is the envy of so many employers, imagine all the time and money spent on sorting out employee grieviances by your average company when you could just push a button instead and make the whole thing dissapear like it never even happened.

Everybody seem to forget that Uber is not our employer but our partner. Very same thing with Ola, Taxify, etc.

So going forward, stop comparing Uber drivers to employees.

Attn. Uber

I am reaching out to you as it has come to my attention that a passenger of mine has made false allegations towards myself and you, my service provider partner.

As this is defaming and this type of behaviour is unethical it contravenes Uber's terms of service. Due to this, Uber must notify all of our passengers that this serves as an official warning and that any further complaint may result in their permanent removal from the Uber platform.

You will be aware that our passengers privacy is important and therefore the passenger who has made the false allegations can not be identified and disciplined individually. The unfortunate side effect of this is that all passengers will need to be warned and may all be permanently removed from the Uber platform whether they have broken the terms and conditions or some other passenger has.

Have a nice day!
