I dropped off 2 teenagers last night. One looked like he had way too much to drink or smoked something and his buddy who was at least sober. As they were getting off the car, which took about 3 minutes, a linden patrol car pulls up. They asked me if I was ubering and politely told them yes. They asked me how long I've been doing it, if I was making good money. I said about a week and yeah so and so. I asked them if I did anything illegal and they said uber is not allowed in Linden so I was like this is it. They're going to give me a ticket. Luckily, a dispatcher had asked them to go somewhere else. They told me next time to be careful where I'm dropping off pax. I got out of there quick. I don't think I'll be doing Friday nights for a while. Dropping off these drunks bring in way too much suspicion. Not worth it.

Dont take offense but you have to get yourself some balls. Ive been pulled over 4 times followed by police and many narrow escapes. Im still here and Ubwr paid the tickets. Cops are a fact of life. Just deal with it.

Just make sure your paperwork is straight. Look at it now and note the expirations. Check the inspection sticker. etc. Make sure the police can only give you the usual Uber tickets. Its an uncomfortable experience but you have to know that you will get pulled over eventually. Its not a matter of if, but when.

I got those Law Enforcement memorial plates for 50 dollars. It couldnt hurt.
