I take a pax to JWA and he's very nice to me having a pleasant conversation. So when I drop him off he says to me "I hear that we can tip though the app so I'll try to do that." I tell him sure just rate me fitst then it will ask you how much to tip. He tries it in front of me as I'm closing the trunk and complains to me that he can't tip through the app. I look at his phone and help him by trying it myself. And guess what it doesn't let him tip. So then I tell him he needs to update the app. He says "Oh I'm sorry. I guess I'll have to tip you cash then but I only have $1 to give you now. Sorry I don't carry any cash. But I'll update the app and hopefully get you again in the future to tip you more." I tell him no worries have a nice day.

Pax really don't update unless you tell them to or show them how. They all need to be informed by us if they aren't looking it up on their own. The ones that don't know still tip me cash so I always tell them to remeber to update their app. Hopefully they will.
