hello everybody

I'm waiting on my TLC license in the mail and am starting to look at cars..

What's your opinion on the most efficient, cost effective car that would be comfortable for a 6' 4" driver AND provide ample legroom to the driver side passenger.

Was looking at a used Cadillac XTS and a Toyota Avalon as they were the largest sedans. (I would really prefer a sedan over a minivan or SUV)

All advice is appreciated

and the automatic sliding doors are great. you pull up to the pax, hit the button, and the doors slide open for them. This is also a way to encourage them to sit in the back/middle, vice the front seat.
Thank you for the advice Uber65. I have nothing against a minivan but at 6'4" do you think there would be enough legroom behind me or would the passengers be deterred from the driver side seat?

Well, I thought he was worried about his leg room more than the riders.

Like me, I am more worried about my own leg room without squeezing the rider behind me.

I am seeing lots of drivers, they look like a Muppet Show puppet while they are driving with driver seat pulled all the way front and straight up.

I'd say go with a sienna. The passengers should be fine. They have a lot of room to sit anywhere they want, and when you do rarely get the call that all seats are filled up, you can either tough it up by moving up a bit for that one ride or let the person sitting behind you tough it out. Though I don't think it would be a problem even with your height. Also it wouldn't make sense to spend more on an Avalon vs. a Camry and still make the same money on Uber X. At least with the sienna you have the option for XL.

After all the pluses and minuses , I bought Camry '15 and I think I made a right choice , think about how bad NYC streets are , transmission , suspemsion
I mean cars getting banged up pretty bad in NYC , so I'd stick with Toyota.
