This article is absolutely awesome. You won't find a more detailed article that demonstrates why we should be classified as employees.
I agree. The points made are well-articulated and researched.
Please help spread this link far and wide as it is not getting nearly enough exposure on this forum.

I enjoyed the article. Thanks for sharing. I like the part of the company you accept the ride first paying for the wait time. Though that I see flaws with as people can abuse it. So you have both systems online. Finally Uber ping comes through. They pay for the time. You leave Lyft on though as they don't know you're engaged with Uber ride. So now you hope a ride request does not come through Lyft while you're finishing Uber ride. But if it does you accept and wait for passenger to cancel.

The only way to make them not be abused is vehicle starts moving they stop paying wait time.
