Needed 2 rides to finish a quest. Most of the time I don't care but I had drove a lot this weekend so figured I'd finish it. Took an airport ride to Southern Highlands and immediately got a pool ping. I rarely do pools, reluctantly accepted it. Picked up a drunk POS and a moderately cute gf? Short 2 mile ride towards where I live. Guy had a fruit punch in a white cup and spilled it on my floor mats and carpet. Pictures looked great on my grey carpet! $3.97 ride + $35 promotion and $120 cleaning fee! Took all of 10 minutes to clean up. Lols!

awesome bro...i read the new update has added a safety feature for pool rides... Something I'm sure a lot of us have complained about on the stupid surveys... Where anytime an additional pool rider request comes in, there's often a chance where safety is compromised (in conversation with schmuck in the back or on the freeway in traffic or whatever)... they actually make you break the law when assessing the incoming request since you can't possibly focus on the road the whole time... this is my biggest beef with pool anyways...
But apparently the new update or a coning soon update, will button that problem up in that any additional pool requests on a current pool trip will automatically be added and navigation and whatever else also automatically update... So basically you won't have to do anything...

I have often ignored any additional pool pings when they come in halfway into my current trip... Not that I should care about the schmuck in the back rolling the dice on his Groupon Uber trip if you will, but the whole process seems like bad service... and you're just asking for the putz in the back to undercut you when u basically shut down his direct route & now give full focus on the next idiot until they in the car too (kinda like when you're having the auto parts tech look up a part for u but the phone rings & they proceed to finish that guy's request instead)...
Anyway, this new feature is great for the safety issue...but g'head & chalk another one up for the RideShare Corp...with this crap, you're stuck taking all the pings if u decide on that first one.

Anyone verify this by chance? Can u go offline after pool guy #1 is in??

You can go offline on Uber as soon as you accept the first pool or any other rider. The auto--accept on pool subsequent riders has always been there. That is why you ALWAYS go offline as soon as you accept a pool. It stops subsequent pool riders. I have actually had as many as 3 additional pool riders added while sitting at a stoplight on Rainbow/Sahara at 5:30 PM. Very disconcerting and dangerous, as you watch the gps go wild only 2 blocks from the dropoff for rider #1, and they have inserted 2 of the 3 riders before the rider #1 dropoff, one requiring a left turn ,and the other a right turn, while you are in the middle lane at the light. On Lyft, they auto accept for you EVERYTHING once you accept the first rider. You cannot go offline on Lyft Line once you accept the first rider. (Flip the offline switch anyway, it will stop all after the line trip is over). You can THINK you are going offline on LINE rides, but offline to Lyft is when the line riders have all exited the vehicle. All other Lyft rides you can, and should go offline as soon as you accept the first rider. If you decide that Line riders after #1 are not acceptable passengers, tough. If you cancel ANYONE on a Line ride, you lose the money for the whole ride. For that reason alone, I do not accept LINE rides.

Second parties of pool rides have been automatically added for quite some time now... At least on my app... But yes there is a no new request button that can be hit... On the rare occasion that I do take a pool ride that's the first thing I do is click the no new request button... had too many uncomfortable situations

I picked up a married couple from a nightclub one night. Turned out the husband and wife were swingers and they invited me to their hotel room to have a threesome with them because they were so horny. It caught me offguard and I was uncomfortable with the surprise invitation so I turned down their offer. They proceeded to make out in the back seats as I took them back to their place before he took his hand and.... Guess who got a cleaning fee afterwards for the mess he made?
