Today I was suddenly disconnected from the system because my background check is still not ready. I logged into the checkr website and it said the report was requested on February 15th. That is, Uber gives 10 days for further work, awaiting a report. And if it does not arrive within this time, the account is disabled. Contacted support - no luck. Moreover, they said that in Boston there are now some delays with the criminal reports and drivers complain.

Has anyone recently had a background check? How long did it take?

The worst thing is when you get disconnected like this unpredictably, suddenly, in the middle of a weekend quest...

My Uber background check this week was just “click aprove” before going online.

Still waiting, after clicking Approve for a 2nd time.
Been chasing a Lyft bonus this week so it doesn't matter. The weekend is a different story.

Uber says the report is still pending. It's complete.

Just spoke wth Uber Help, they're "waiting on MA DPU" — up to 5 business days.

In reality, it's two background checks.
