Frequency of background checks is state dependent. MA requires every 6 months, and since I drive for both U/L, means 4 checks a year. Most usually take 1-2 days and accounts remain active. Once in while, access is blocked while the check is pending - no biggie since I just switch to the opposite platform to drive. Good reason to be active under both.
