Hey Yall!

I needed some help. I used to Uber alot back in 2015-2019 when I lived in Texas. I stopped because of the Pandemic. Finally getting back to it to get some extra income in. But I live in California now and wanted some advice on my registration. Is it important to get my plates AND title registered in Cali too or would my TX sticker/plates and title be sufficient?

Make sure your all California on your paperwork, plates, license, address etc.

You live there now, your required to have everything switched over by law.

Insurance companies follow the rules and they are covering your trips.

That is right.
Insurance in Cali will be way more expensive than in Texas.
Once you establish your residency in California, you will have to apply for your driver's license within 10 days, and your car registration should be done within 20 days. You could be charged by daily basic after more than 20 days.

The ones that don't work? The ones where you need a booster shot every few months where 99% don't ever follow up with?
