Hey guys i was an Uber, Lyft and Side Care driver about 2 year ago but stopped after I graduated nursing school. I resigned up for Uber and Lyft the other day in order to save some money for a trip I want to take. I currently live in Los Alamitos should I even bother trying to drive in the OC or should I head out to Hollywood area like i used to. I'm hoping to make about $200 a week.

Probably better off staying in OC. Hollywood area is over saturated. Way too many drivers, not enough pax.

I am in Cypress. I always go online in Cypress and wait for a ping. 90% of the time I get taken into a busier zone and I follow the natural path of the pax. 100% of my days so far start out in Cypress, and I end up in LA county for the day/night - except for the 4th where I was stuck in Newport all day on stacked pings and couldn't refuse a ride to go offline and get out of there cause I was on hourly.

Welcome back and I'm not sure of the area where you work so maybe other members on the forums can confirm this but the early morning hours are usually red. You could try hitting that window of opportunity since I know how many hrs nurses can work

You were so right. Logged in from my home is Los Alamitos...10 minutes later got my first ride...took me to Hollywood and Highland...Only worked an hour and a half and made $78 not to shabby. My goal is 5 rides a day 5 days a week...that should get me to my $200...i hope
