I don't think fake. I guarantee you living in cali, especially in the days of the YouTube star, you are encountering this at a rate that is bordering on annoyingly normal. He probably had to endure an 11 minute wait after this at In&Out Burger with a 98 year old "manager" who really bungles up the transaction, only to find it was johnny Knoxville.
