Actively seeking HELP with these lovely mini bans from UBER

Has anyone succeeded in avoiding them ?

Thoughts :

1. Accept the trip and let it timed out ( You really do not want to take that option specially when it is surging at your actual location)

2. Accept the trip and call the pax ( Pulled over by a cop)- Again, which option the PAX will chose reasons for cancelling , - hope its not Driver requested cancel , lol, for sure that is the most common reason which will be selected

3. Accept the trip, then cancel it by not charging the rider ( ACRO , hmhm, not really fan of that one )


Sooner / Later, am sure UBER will increase the mini ban span from 2 mins to 5 mins and this is going to hurt a lot of drivers.

Oh, I strongly suggest you keep that secret for you as you are the luckiest person right now. Just wondering ,are you on 20 % or 25 % Uber commission?

I noticed when I drove in surge 2 weeks ago that I was binned for non acceptance but not notified through the app

I rejected 3 pings & nothing happened.. I looked on the rider app & noticed that I had disappeared ... only when I went offline & tried to come back on again did the red bar of doom pop up stating I've been binned for 2 mins

The way Uber operates and only cares about itself and profits I wouldn't be surprised if they took the 20% drivers off the road quicker - makes sense to them an extra 5% in there pockets

Yeah, no.... 3 missed/cancelled trips in a ROW = equal ban. Reported by many here, no one ever gets more than 3 in a ROW.

This figure is reset each completed trip. So you can let 2 time out, take a trip, then let another 2 time out, take a trip etc.

Cancelled trips now count the same as a timed out one. So its let 3 trips time out or ACRO = mini ban.

Sadly out of all yours choices you put forward, they are going to take just as long as riding the mini ban out. Its safer to ride the mini ban out myself than to try to get paxs to cancel trips etc.

Yup, 3 in a row standard for Eats too.

True, 3 in the row and a message pop up ask you to Online or Offline.

Whatever you choose will lead to 5 mins offroad by Uber.

If enough people can prove that any bans actually happen it will be useful in any case for drivers being employees
