Been noticing the que has been up and down like rollercoaster for a while.
Some drivers been purposely doing regular Lyft rides (downgrading) aiming for short rides like MGM and closer so they can be next in line when they are back to the lot.
They accept the request, call and ask where the pax are heading to. The drivers will cancel or ask the pax to cancel IF the destination is further than the short rides boundaries.
Once they drop the pax at those short ride destinations out of airport, they switch to XL and above platforms.
The idea is to cut que and take advantage of the "short ride - next in line" feature.
Was at the Lyft office the other day and they told me they been monitoring those who frequently call/ txt the pax, cancel or requesting pax to cancel.
Those drivers accounts will be flagged and eventually will be banned from the airport or permanently deactivated.
Those of you who know anyone doing this, please warn them that Lyft will get them.
Now we are going to lose "next in line" feature soon because of them.
