From a driver that attended:

"The decision is shelved until they can get a traffic report and safety report from the TNC committee very frustrating none of them wanted to commit to either regulating or deregulating Uber Lyft and the taxis. they want it shelved until November when they have this report in or thereabouts but there is a meeting August 21st with the city council that can bypass their recommendation or they can go with what they recommend."

finally. I heard second-hand that getting registered to drive rideshare in Ashland will cost you 60 dollars, but I have not confirmed that. Currently I am doing food delivery only, as I need to upgrade into a newer vehicle to qualify for rideshare. But with Ashland and Grants Pass finally coming online, I probably will do so soon.
