So I applied for snap because well a ***** gotta eat !!!! I'm never one to be applying for benefits n shit but damn this Rona ish trippin. Anyhow I applied but then I said f it I ain't gonna bother they asking for too much. This was last week btw

So A rep called me this morning why I haven't finished the application what y'all mfers think?? Did any of y'all apply for snap.


FYI I don't really like taking shit from the government. But this is a unique situation for us all.

The only reason we can apply for UI now is cause feds stepped in and said we would pay. Before that nys said f off independent contractor.

U you will prolly run into similar 1099 issues. 1099 don't really show costs etc.

Bring your schedule C from previous tax return and they can subtract it

My brother gets it. Gets like 600-800 a month. Drives Uber and got 2 kids and a wife. My sister in law did all the paperwork. I don’t know how she did it.

You don’t need a W2 to get SNAP food stamps, anyone can get it, if you rent an apartment you can show them a copy of the lease and that makes you more likely to get food stamps

The most y'all get a month from SNAP is about $150-$180 as single claimant. You need a in-person interview and show up once a week in their employment workshop. Once a while a case worker will review your case and ask for interview forms, which you can pay $20-$100 to have some manager to deny you a job. Which pretty much defeats the purpose IMO.

Only single mothers with children get as high as $600-1000 a month from SNAP. It takes a little creativity on the forms and proofs, but I've seen people who are really pro at it.

Well the workshops are closed now so it's a good time look man anything helps. Having food in the crib is the most important thing right now.
