Yeah pretty average money. Your locked into $30 hr rate and it's 4 hour block but realistically you are doing 5-6 hrs because of picking up, loading up of parcels and sometimes having to return parcels back because cannot be delivered. At one point during amazon prime day I had to wait 1 hr at the depot just to pick up as the staff couldn't keep up with preparing the deliveries. I did 5 deliveries to try it out last month.

If it is 6 hours, then it is $20 per hour unless they are paying u for waiting time.

If u are doing ride sharing as well, then Amazon flex has similiar gst implications from my understanding.

Amazon, Uber, etc promote flexibility and being your own boss, all you are is modern day slave to people that use these services.

Amazon probably the worst of the lot, i don't how drivers make any money doing that. You'd be making more money earning minimum wage.
Amazon good for mums between school hours

I think $45-$50 per hour is about right if they expect u to only get paid 4 hour shifts and not include time to picking up at Amazon warehouse and dropping packages back to warehouse where u have been unable to contact customer at drop.

I still would not do it but current rates are too low imo.

It crap pay under the time crunch of delivering all the mail. Amazon has a hundred percent turnover of it employees year by year. Working as a gig worker I would imagine be even worse.

Flex is luck of the draw, surge, parcels, area, returns.
Being an independent contractor shouldn’t be luck! It should be able to make calculated business decisions
