like 9 minutes.. I was on the highway and going in his direction.

So, I pulled into a surface lot last weekend and a lady come walking up to my car and asked if i have jumper cables, I said I did and she shows me her care and her daughter and husband who did not look happy. The car fired right up and the guy say how much, I said what ever you think is good is good with me, he hands me a $20. Best trip of the night.

Think of all the places you have picked up. I am not so sure the side of the freeway is worse than most unprotected places we meet customers.

The worst pickups possible are highway and people that live on roads where the speed is 50mph+

I cancel on these people because the traffic behind me is not expecting a sudden deceleration from 50mph to 0. The chances of getting rear ended in these situations are high; especially during rush hour.

And yes, people are completely blind and stupid. Even if there's a big yellow flashing thing in the road, they'll hit it.

I had a pickup at a milemarker on rural 94 not too long ago, going to a Twins game.

That's not even the sketchiest. I've had a pickup at a rail crossing, going to the next one.
