I've seen billboards downtown for this. I can't remember the name though (maybe Eaze?). I think it used to be on 11th when you're heading north to get on the 5/163. Not sure if it's still there or not as I haven't been downtown in about 3 weeks.

People working in San Diego but living in Tijuana can still cross. They are just shutting down tourism at the moment. We are also part of critical services (transportation and delivery). Not that that matters, anyone working in San Diego but living in Tijuana can cross.

Sentri had zero wait today. The other lanes were fairly empty as well. There's been a long line of pedestrians, they are getting screened before entering USA. But I don't want to pick up someone whose been shoulder to shoulder with hundreds of other people daily.

Driving? No. Walking, yes. but I wouldn't come here if you didn't need to. Heard we have 2 cases in Tijuana. In Playas de Tijuana there is 1. Playas de Tijuana is not that large of an area..

Thank you. Yes I know. My friend lives in Plays and told me also about that 1 case. I will come only for emergencies. I am concerned about civil unrest also. Nobody can work in TJ with everything closed down. How can they buy food. Big problem! Very sad for everyone on both sides of the border.

Before all of this, I used to go to TJ every so often for dental work. On the way back, when walking into PedWest, I never knew which line to walk into as a US citizen. The sun was usually shining on the LED sign, so I just hopped into a random line (usually on the far left). Which line should I be in, for future reference? Also, when the line gets really long and backed up along that long overhead walkway, do US citizens have to wait in line? Just wondering because I always seem to be the only ****** in it, lol.

It depends if you have a paper passport, passport card, or the sentri card. Being a US citizen doesn't affect which line.

I only cross driving now, but when I did walk I used the Jack in the Box side, so I can't comment on the PedWest.

Lol, thanks. I have the passport ID card. I always just have the Mexican Uber drop me off at El Chaparral when going back to the US. I used to take the old Jack In the Box crossing before PedWest was built and find PedWest to be a lot easier, in my opinion. The American Customs people always seem like such emotionless jerks though. Normally I'd give attitude back if it was anyone else. But since they have my entry back to my home country in the palm of their hands, I kinda just go with it.
