So I take Lyft the other day (it's pre-installed on my company issued phone and has $25 in credits) and request a Lyft Line ride.

One of the other pax in the car, a gentleman in his 40/50's asks me what he needs to do to complete the ride in the app. I explain to him, its pretty intuitive, it will ask you how your driver was, and if you would like to include a tip you may (i also added that on the Lyft Line fares, its commonplace for people to tip more than usual because of the low fares for drivers). he gets out, and we're on our way.

When I get out, I go to rate the driver and tip him, however, after I mark him for Friendly, Clean Car, etc, it never led me to an option to tip.

Is this normal in Lyft Line rides?

I took Lyft a few times in the last month and it gave me the option to tip - there was no way I could miss it.

Yes, I tipped each ride.

Just got back from Vegas where I took Lyft pretty much every day. You get the option to tip before you get the option to rate (never took a Line tho)
