Uber and Lyft pay the same now. Uber will have surges sometimes. Lyft never does other than their prime that covers a few blocks in Detroit or Royal Oak. The pay sucks for both, but on an Uber surge, you'll make more. Plus, the Lyft ride request are much longer than Uber. I had hopes for Lyft, but they really suck in the Detroit market.

If you're driving Flint, and the only game there, why not keep the app off until a surge? I wish the same in Detroit too. There are tons of drivers willing to make less than they should by keeping their apps on at all hours.

Right Detroit would be harder because there is so many cars out. X SELECT BLACK XL ETC.

But there are only 7 drivers in Flint.

Shouldnt be that hard to control the surge.

Do you guys have any tips for driving flint? I signed up a year ago and did a couple and didn't really get much after. Recently I have went online when I was in the area and still didn't much until today. I had 5 today. You guys notice any days/times/areas that are more popular?

Grand blanc area in the mornings

I have a truck so I really have to be busy for it to be worth while. Do you know what the flint areas are?

See above... Court street when school lets out... Noon and 3 but you need a fuel effecient vehicle because the pickups are scattered.

Kind of hard to see on the map but does it service Davison? I only do it when I am in the area. I live in Lapeer so it's really hard to drive 20 mins to flint and than sit for 4 hours with nothing. Like today I was passing through and had a hit immediately and 4 or 5 more right after.

It is in Davison and Goodrich. You won't have to wait 4 hours ever if your sitting in the right spot. But there are probably six car in flint at any one time. Id like to say it's worth it but I drive down to detroit to make $100_$150 a day but I drive a focus. I can't make that much in Flint.
