We all have our gripes when it comes to Uber. Just curious if something that you didn't expect became a positive outcome driving for Uber.

Mine is that my car never been so clean in it's life. Consistently clean. My friends comment all the time how clean my windows and interior is. lol.

I'm usually the type when somebody hops in my car... I end up throwing clutter that has been piled up on the passenger seat to the rear seat. Then when I get more friends that needs a ride, all that stuff in the rear seat goes into the trunk.

I hate cleaning out my trunk before Uber.

actually for the most part.i like driving for uber. i get to meet and talk to lots of different people which makes for interesting times. driving around nice neighborhoods (i love real estate), no boss, casual wear, flex hours, tax write offs on 1099, bills are paid and im eating. i do wish they would pay more and be more supportive of drivers but ive worked for companies that are WWAAYY worse. i was just driving til i found a job but after awhile i stopped looking for a job cuz im doing good enough with uber until i can get back in real estate. i like it alit more than i dont like it. hope that helps :)

I have greater respect for taxi and limo drivers. Now I, partly, understand what they go through.

If anyone sticks to driving to make a living, try to get a job as a taxi or limo driver. At least most good companies pay them an hourly rate. In the mean time, pass out your contact cards to all your riders. You don't know if in the future you'll hit the limo ride, and they can call you directly. If not, they can always call you and you can uber for them. Don't do cash rides. Nothing good will come out of it. Specially if the rider gets pissed and calls the police, or you get in an accident while they are in there. Cops and insurance adjusters don't take kindly to ********** drivers.

Believe me, even if you make $2K a week in cash. That one mistake will wipe you out. And you will pay for it the rest of your life. Not worth it to take cash.

I like driving for myself with the help of any app that will get me a nice fare. The smaller the fee the more I like the app.

The biggest perk of being your own boss is not having an alarm clock telling you when to get up and coming up excuses with for not being somewhere I don't want to be.

The best part about using Uber partners app is going offline when I want , and booting a ******bag out of my car.

Meeting people all over the world.

Learning short cut tricks during certain times of day in my city.

Keeping my car clean is a plus but it sadly makes me realize how much damage pax do to my car.

I love learning about the good and/or new restaurants/bars in my city. I always ask what was the best dish/drink that they had. I have had so many great dinners already and have a list of many more places that I will go.

Working when you want in my opinion is an Uber myth. I have to work during the busy times to make the most money. I'm full time and my check takes a major hit if I take Friday and Saturday off.

Yeah, over the years I've learned where every bar, restaurant, hotel and hospital is. I know where to find the best cheesesteak sammich too.
