Do you need to get any permit from TLC to use the camera in the car? Will getting a camera other than one from TLC approved camera list cause any trouble?

That's the one I use too, amazing sharp video quality, built in gps and speed recorder.

I have the Transcend 520 also, but when I set the date/time, it keeps changing the time to 5 hours ahead after about 30 seconds.
