Stay a way from them!...They are extremely dangerous, you can't know what they think. I thought they were busy but the fact says the opposite.

Technically speaking the prius didnt even touch the cyclist at the start and the cyclist could have avoided being hit if he didnt go into a ***** mode and throw himself onto the floor.

Cycle lanes are a pain in the backside.
At least he survived so all is well.
I have seen too many cyclists get knocked down, that junction is confusing isn't it (where is it?, just asking so don't slate me)
You BC must find it a bigger pain as they are in the bus lanes with you, all very cosy and that's face it awkward.

Looking left and right and then left and right again at junctions is normal practice if you consider yourself a competent driver.

I am a competent driver so we are all good.
That is still a crazy junction, considering some cyclists can go damn quick. Its that junction splitting from the filming position just makes this a bit more awkward.
As a driver it needs extra caution, more than normal and appreciate knowing it's whereabouts so many thanks for the information.

Just watched it again and right at the end he nearly causes another accident by walking along the cycle lane and making a cyclist brake really hard to avoid him.
Not to mention the pedestrian he nearly reverses into after the initial incident.
Driving people around is serious business... their lives and the public's ( i.e pedestrians, cyclists etc) lie in your hands.
It seems its a game out there with all these part time Uber drivers.
