Once it was Taxis protesting Uber. Now it is Uber. Reality has bitten.
Uber is an exploitative business model relying on the gullibility and desperation of its drivers.

I think he may very well be the MOST EVIL MAN on the face of this planet and Uber the most exploitative company in business history!!!!!
Maybe.....but I've also read some other really bad stories about how other American companies treat their workers, such as Apple and Amazon and others. If they can't obey our laws here they should be given their marching orders and told to leave.

Yes, if only these abominations would just go away we'd be so much better off!

I'm really disappointed! You're saying that there are WORSE companies out there! And I SO wanted to work for the most exploitative company in the universe!
However, do you think that Travis gets an adrenaline rush - similar to some drivers on this Forum get from cancellation fees but on a much much grander scale - from seeing drivers come closer and closer to penury? I've learned to respect the need for the adrenaline rush as a prime motivation for many seemingly irrational acts.

Just have a look at the situation with many franchisees, such as 7-Eleven. Imagine having to give your employer cash back out of your pay, so that it looks like you've been paid the correct amount, but in reality you've kept a lot less.
