Unless you have a dash cam with evidence... You're screwed and even if you did have evidence you're still getting those points.

Next time don't worry about being the perfect driver and if someone tries to overtake you from the left lane when it's clearly the non-turning lane, let them because every time... They will try desperately to overtake you... And if you challenge the person. I guarantee you'll create some road rage. Other drivers don't treat other cars as if they have human drivers. They treat them like obstacles.

In this case you lost, and you didn't have anything to win in the first place either way. Pay it and move on with life.

Fight it go to court. If English isn't your first language hire a lawyer pay that person $600 and you'll win. She had no evidence. She took a picture of the plate, ok have her show the picture to the judge with any damage from the collision.

I have a feeling she got into an accident later that day or week and had your picture and used you are the cover story. People are evil and 25-40% of Americans are stupid.

Fight it.
We aren't talking about a court of law here, when the TLC laws are involved, west coast driver.

In TLC court, the defense lawyers you retain all know how the Racket works and want their slice too. And you're guilty even if proven innocent. What you win is a reduction in the fine in most cases as a 'plea'.

You can sue for defamation in a real court of law and try to see if you'll win that.

If you go to that hearing, and you lose. You will have 6 TLC points, that's suspension. And you'll pay them up to $1700.

If you get 4 more points that's Revocation.

Once again... The less risk you take the better... You have TOO MUCH to lose if you go to that hearing. PAY THE 400 AND TAKE YOUR 2 PTS bro.

Take the defensive driving course and reduce it to 0 PTS and you're only out of 400 dollars. Jesus stop taking this "fight" advice. If you get sued by her insurance company you already have insurance to cover you.

If you get 6 PTS, your insurance rates will be increased and you can only reduce them down to 3 PTS.
