I figured it had something to do with your activity in the platform, it turned out to be true, weeks of testing led me to this final conclusion.

You need to:

Turn off your app THE ENTIRE TIME, if you depend on lyft only, you are fuxed, you do not even peek to see if the promos are there, your app has to be asleep for up to a week (maybe 2 depending on the trigger).

Once you keep the app asleep without even peeking, Lyft will start sending you messages, through the app or through your email, they will ask you to turn on your app, to come drive for them and enjoy being a millionaire, you IGNORE THAT, when they stop sending you those messages (2-3 days after the barrage of message, the messages have to stop for 2 days straight), you turn on the app and voila! you now have streaks, how long they last? no clue, I don't rideshare anymore but if they get removed, rinse and repeat.

Just as God said don't look in Sodom and Gomorrah's cool story, you too will see the benefits of this or you will look and turn into a salt statue

Either way it's repeatable if you fail the first time, don't say daddy never gave you anything ;)

This is so true and I think it also has something to do with good reviews. Like 4.85 or above as driver
That remains to be studied, I have a friend doing it with a 4.7, it will be weeks, when I did it on my account and for some reason I was a 5 star driver 🤣 I remember stopping with a 4.77 rate, I guess they upped my rate to push me to drive again.

IF anyone gets them with a low rate post it here.

A percentage of the fare is marked to herd ants. I know the numbers are not correct but for arguments sake let's say Lyft takes 30% of the fare and 5% is marked to get you to jump thru hoops. If you logoff for a couple of weeks, they have already collected the monies and have to try and get it back to you before the end of the period. The hurdles and hoops get easier because of it. It's tactics for ant training.

I posted this and within 8hrs I'm "Not Approved to Drive" with the estimated completion time of over two weeks for CheckR's background check to be completed. No choice but to look elsewhere.

Thank you for this advice. I have now uninstalled Lyft and will see if it works.
Nonono, LOL.

You don't need to uninstall Lyft else they won't know if you are just not opening their app, the app needs to be installed but must never be opened until the end of the messages, you know you are on your way when you start getting messages from Lyft about going online, after that you wait until they stop sending you messages, once you stop getting messages for 2 days straight, open the app and streaks should be there.
