Anybody doing flex in atlanta? If so, is it worth it?
It will not pop up automatically. You have to continuously refresh. This new ways stinks. Click on "check for available blocks" then the back arrow, repeat. It's a time waster. When something does pop up, you have grab it or it will gone before you can read it. Feel like a mouse jumping through hoops trying to get the government cheese.I wonder if I'm not getting any notifications/ pop-ups because my availability isn't until 6pm.
Thought I would still get pop-ups despite availability setting
I did 5 2hr blocks last week and made $241. I finished most runs within an hour. I just don't like how hard it is to get blocks. So I finally scored a 2 hour block from 8-10. Totally different experience than Smyrna. I pull into the lot and lots of activity, people walking into building, others coming out with carts n loading up their cars, cars constantly coming n going.. I walk in and let the lady at the cart know I'm new and a transfer from Smyrna. She tells me to sign in and assigns me a single order which consist of 7 items, she proceeds to tell me to scan each item now and then again when I reach my destination. Cool no problem.. I then notice the address PTC.. Huh really.??. This order is in Peach Tree City 36 miles one way 48 minute drive time, well that's my 2 hour block..
I miss Smyrna DAT1
Yes I saw a some of those 4 hour blocks....through the continuous refresh method, but they were taken as soon as I selected them too.For the new Bolton UGA2 crew I actually saw some 4 hour blocks today for the first time all week. I wasn't able to partake in any of them due to a prior engagement but just really nice to know they do exist!
Yeah....not sure how "random" these blocks are released. I'm sure the veterans get some type of heads-up.I too got zero blocks for next week, I left my availability wide open(8am-12am) for the sake of being scheduled a couple of hours.. NO such luck.. BOO!
Checking for blocks and constantly refreshing is a total waste of time.. I'm not gonna waste any more time doing so..
Yes, constant refreshing. It's not so bad if I'm on the back end of a block. At least I'm getting paid then. With tips I average $23/hr.I'm assuming the tips were great. When you say it's hard to get blocks, do you have to keep constantly refreshing to see the blocks? If so, that seems to be the case with logistics also.
That's not bad at all.Yes, constant refreshing. It's not so bad if I'm on the back end of a block. At least I'm getting paid then. With tips I average $23/hr.
