I'm gonna chime in on my first experience with Amazon Prime Restaurant Delivery 3 hour block 6:30-9:30pm. My waiting area was downtown 133 Lucky St. Great staging area since there are so many lots and off street parking available.

As soon as I tap I've arrived @6:24 ping I've got an order on 3rd St Midtown.. Well It's Friday traffic is still kinda heavy, I get to my destination and it's midtown so no parking I find a space with a meter so I'm outta pocket $1 but better than a ticket or boot! Delivery is on 12th St. I get to my destination and dude comes down to retrieve his dinner delivery and tells me the app recommended tip was really low so he gave me a much bigger and well deserved tip(I love this man, he hasn't been brain washed by Uber!) I thanked him for his generous gratuity and continued on.. App instructed me to return to my staging area and after arriving another ping so off I go.. again n again..

Having to go back to the staging area was kinda a pain but I can see why they recommend it, you're always in a close proximity to downtown restaurants. My last delivery was to Grant Park @9:13 when I swiped to finish the app said well done. Yay.. I was home by 9:30

The 3 hour block was $54 with tips $78. I enjoyed it but the down side to Bolton UGA2 is NOT being able to get blocks, literally as soon as it's released its gone!!

I wonder if I'm not getting any notifications/ pop-ups because my availability isn't until 6pm.

Thought I would still get pop-ups despite availability setting
It will not pop up automatically. You have to continuously refresh. This new ways stinks. Click on "check for available blocks" then the back arrow, repeat. It's a time waster. When something does pop up, you have grab it or it will gone before you can read it. Feel like a mouse jumping through hoops trying to get the government cheese.
My availability for next week was 4am-midnight everyday. Got zero "reserved blocks."

So I finally scored a 2 hour block from 8-10. Totally different experience than Smyrna. I pull into the lot and lots of activity, people walking into building, others coming out with carts n loading up their cars, cars constantly coming n going.. I walk in and let the lady at the cart know I'm new and a transfer from Smyrna. She tells me to sign in and assigns me a single order which consist of 7 items, she proceeds to tell me to scan each item now and then again when I reach my destination. Cool no problem.. I then notice the address PTC.. Huh really.??. This order is in Peach Tree City 36 miles one way 48 minute drive time, well that's my 2 hour block..

I miss Smyrna DAT1
I did 5 2hr blocks last week and made $241. I finished most runs within an hour. I just don't like how hard it is to get blocks.

I too got zero blocks for next week, I left my availability wide open(8am-12am) for the sake of being scheduled a couple of hours.. NO such luck.. BOO!

Checking for blocks and constantly refreshing is a total waste of time.. I'm not gonna waste any more time doing so..

For the new Bolton UGA2 crew I actually saw some 4 hour blocks today for the first time all week. I wasn't able to partake in any of them due to a prior engagement but just really nice to know they do exist!
Yes I saw a some of those 4 hour blocks....through the continuous refresh method, but they were taken as soon as I selected them too.

I also can't believe how people are constantly stalking. I got up to use the restroom Sunday at 4am and decided to check for a block...One 4 hour block popped up for Sunday 5:30-9:30pm but was gone before I could select it.

At the warehouse I see a lot of the same individuals...and they're constantly refreshing as well. I'm surprised they haven't hit 40 hours yet.

Yeah....not sure how "random" these blocks are released. I'm sure the veterans get some type of heads-up.

I won't be in town this week.....I wonder how Thanksgiving/ Black Friday will be for Prime Now.

I'm just curious, does anyone know if Amazon delivers on Thanksgiving Day? Although I haven't worked since last week, I've received several notifications for blocks the next day---just started noticing these 24 hour notice blocks with the new update.

Last night I received this email from Amazon Flex---keep in mind I work out of the Smyrna (Dat1) station:

DELIVERY STATION CLOSED ON NOVEMBER 24
In recognition of the Thanksgiving holiday, your delivery station will be closed on November 24th. The Delivery Station will reopen November 25th.

Thank you for delivering smiles with us!

My guess would be last minute items they forgot and don't have the time to run to the grocery store for.. Yesterday people were very thankful for their delivery, they all said you just saved the day!

It would be great if we could do both platforms. I miss the hustle of Smyrna and ease of getting blocks. As for Bolton it's so easy but dang near ridiculous tryna get a block!

I'm assuming the tips were great. When you say it's hard to get blocks, do you have to keep constantly refreshing to see the blocks? If so, that seems to be the case with logistics also.
Yes, constant refreshing. It's not so bad if I'm on the back end of a block. At least I'm getting paid then. With tips I average $23/hr.
