So under the right conditions you'd be THAT guy. I guess it's there to see if there's something to take advantage of.
If it was red as a babboons ass map with $25+ Surges I can see a lot of people going out.

The earliest I could do anything tomorrow is maybe 8-9 at night anyway. Day stuff then I have to do a "private ride" (take mom and her friend to Dulles late afternoon) that will keep me busy.

I will do some Qatar Shuffles in solidarity.

How interesting it would be if tomorrow night ends up being NYE in May. Someone is selling their soul for that.
I won't drive but I wouldn't club anyone that does drive tomorrow for a few reasons:

1. Some people have to put food on the table and a roof over the kids heads. I know people that will support it in spirit but still need to in order to survive.

2. The organization and promotion has been disjointed at best. Look at us here. We can't even tell when it's supposed to be. I've seen threads that it's the full 24 hours, just from 7-9 A.M. or from noon to midnight. Is there a specific website that lists it?

3. Is it Uber/Lyft or just Uber? Not being funny but which is it? I am on my own personal jihad against Lyft but are they to be struck against too?

LOL. You're especially right about Lyft.

Everyone and the media talks about Uber first in the strike and there may be like one picture of a dude's Lyft tradedress in his window. Sole Lyft drivers might not even be striking. Especially since they're not the ones doing the IPO on Friday. Anyone can just say "oh yeah I'm going on strike, F Uber yeahhhhhh" then drive on Lyft tomorrow and be like "well Lyft isn't doing a strike so yeah".

Knowing Lyft they won't put a power zone or surge out there and hope someone exposes themselves any ways.

I like how I'm accidentally replacing the word strike with shuffle. Shuffling cures everything.

As far as I know, no one has heard from him in some time.

I am driving the cab to-morrow. I will take street hails, Curb and my own company's calls. As I understand it, this action does not include Uber Taxi. If I receive nothing to tell me that it does by the time that I hit the street to-morrow, I will feel no qualms about logging on to Uber Taxi. If I get reliable and convincing proof that It does include Uber Taxi, then I will not log on to it.

I m not going out tomorrow, even though I know this will have a very small to No impact at all on rideshare companies, but I won't be that guy. I might even delete the app for the day.
Keep the app on. Let every ping time out.

Do this for both Uber/Lyft.

I am driving for sure today! Started at 4! Yesterday was my last day of exams and you better believe I will drive non stop until my month long vacay. I can't afford to take any days off prior to that.
