So i got an ping around midnight 5 minutes from me. The name is pretty unique, can be
either male or female. As soon as i got there , this guy came out of the house. I asked him
where to? He wants to hit an chase bank about 2 miles away and back. I was thinking
in my head, bummer i just did 3 minis already and this gonna be number 4 in an row.
When we got to the bank's drive through, he hands me his atm card and asks if he can trust
me, to which i reply no, i'm an stranger. He proceed to give me his pin anyways and asks me to
take out $1000 from the machine. The machines max limit turns out to be $800, so thats what we took out.
On the way back, he just hands me an $20 tip. I was very surprised , and felt it was kinda over
the top. So i started to say, its not necessary or something. He insisted and i got my first $20
tip ever on an minimum fare run.
Afterwards, i was trying to figure out why i initially declined it. I thought since most pax
tips nothing riding uber. Getting an $20 tip on mini run was just an bit much. Also was curious why would
someone would need to bring that much cash home at that time. I almost asked him, but thought better
of it.
