Yeah, yeah I remember what I said—blank that---don't wanna meet Noneofyall
Chicago summer concert season? EVERY weekend needs a plan. Had a homeboy do everything right at TS concert only to have nothing left in the tank to milk it out right—very late at night.
Spring Awakening Music Festival
Addams/Medill Park
Uhmm, nope. Sweaty, entitled kids, NEVA
(altho—last year I hung out at the Jewels and had a ginger ale for free concert-ish experience. )
Love the music—hate the kids. So much so--I turned off my app on exit till I cleared the stench of entitlement.
Chicago Blues Festival
June 8-10, 2018 • Millennium Park • FREE Admission • 11am-9:30pm
Not a money maker—but do check out B.L.U.E.S or House of Blues (2-4AM) for enthusiasts with disposable income. Only LovetheBlues ...loves the blues anything close to what I do. I break out into a Pop's tenor....what's a matter with him....he's alright...
….At the mere mention of Mavis...still, NOPE....took too many days off gotta get some funky stuff in Naperville.
Now I'm going to stop here. Because the who, what, when, and where makes no sense as a standalone. What makes less sense is people who have lived in Chicago their whole life trying to figure out how to get off LSD at museum complex to pick a cherry ride coming out the ballpark. Nuts.
Plan ahead. The most important thing is the hunting lurche---make a pit oudda of slice of asphalt. Second most important---don't be a secret driver---learn how to communicate your pole position. In a single sentence—voice or text. Third—none of this does you a bit of good if you bag the 3.5 and jump on the outer drive. Exit requires serious strategy.
