Ok. Let's see: $30.06 - 20.14 - $3.25 - $2.00 = $4.67I think the safe rider fee is the same for x and xl at 2.00 and the airport fee is 3.25

I agree with you. Your description makes sense from a layman's point of view. But what would be the legality of charging the passenger for a less efficient route?The tough part about this is that if Uber responds with a "technical problem" response, there is no way to validate. And it could be repeated a million more times without being caught.
But would it not make sense that the fare to the customer was quoted based on a less than efficient path, but the driver took a more efficient path. The bidding server calculated the path one way and the driver's navigation calculated another way. Uber keeps the difference.
