Airport pickups in Sydney..UberX

So far I haven't bothered. One guy told me he waited two hours for a booking to come through. I assumed their would be build up demand for UberX services at Sydney airport.

Can anyone give some real life experiences? Not hearsay.

I've had a airport to Birchgrove after a 10 min wait on a Sat afternoon, but otherwise, I tend not to wait if the rider app shows lots of other drivers there..

Yep, they've changed that access roads to one lane each way and the lights are poorly phased. Yesterday arvo only 4 cars got through on each green cycle....
Will leave waiting area, head the other way and come in on the main road...
