I have been doing lyft and started uber today. I was at the airport and was 1st and 2nd in line. I have an xl/plus vehicle. When I am in top of both lines would it make sense to ignore the first ping if it is not an XL in hopes of the other app getting me an XL/plus?

It's anyone's guess cause you have no clue where they are going til you pick them up.
My god have I been screwed today. Today is by far the worst day I have had. Been out since 3am and only $67. Had a ride to airport at 540 so I went in queue. Didn't get a ride until 710 and they went to robet morris. F me, so I hwad downtown and get a few small ones but nothing big. Finally at 9 I got a ride back to airport. I sat in queue from 915 till 1115 and the ride I got was to Coraopolis busiNess park. I am now back in queue 17 on lyft and 6 on uber. Bunch of flights coming in by 1210 so I will give it until then and then call this a shitty day and go home.

Always check to make sure there are incoming flights. Remember yesterday was Labor Day so there probably wasn't a lot of business travel. I suggest using an app like gridwise or at least just go to the Pittsburgh International website.

YUP it sure was! I had TWO surge pickups from the airport late last night. One was 1.4 and the other was 1.3. That's pretty rare. I was 15 minutes away and was getting airport requests! I guess some uber drivers took the night off cause of the holiday cause there was no one in the lot.

I was at the airport today (9/10). While waiting at the lot uber app for some reason took me out of queue and the lyft app told me that I was out of the queue area. The lyft app came back after a minute or so and put in back in queue, but the uber app didn't until I had to log off/on uber and then it put me back in queue. My question has this happened to anyone else? And does anyone know why this happened? Uber app is up to date.

I was in the middle of the lot. I don't think I was out of the area cause there were other drivers park two spots down from me
