I wish it was FAKE NEWS but as "Hugh G" said its in the news in the US, we are a few weeks behind the US in this matter .

Unfortunately UBER X drivers are boasting about how much they are making from this. I think it is very very WRONG to pass passengers addresses to criminals,We all should UNITE and STAND UP against this , not argue with each other, surely you all agree ?

This predatory criminal type behaviour against homeowners/residents has been going on since Adam was a boy.
Every visitor, or tradesman you let into your house might take a quick inventory and checkout any burglars alarms etc. Open houses when a house is up for sale also give these guys a great opportunity for some research.
In the early 80's I worked in pubs/clubs around Newtown and Balmain. Colour TV's and Video recorders were worth a thousand dollars then. One particular enterprising gentleman had a group of lithe youths, break into houses and take inventory of the contents. He then went back to the pubs/clubs and punters could select the goods they required - the burglars then broke into the houses to procure the orders. They smashed through roofs, ripped up floorboards and smashed walls to gain entry.
The leader of this enterprise was no fool, he usually sent his goons back about 2 months later to see if he could double up and collect the new electrical goods from the insurance ! He was constantly on the move and disappeared after a few weeks. Never heard if the gang was caught.
Any ideas on how "We all should UNITE and STAND UP against this"
