If you use your DF does that ruin your chance to get rematched....
I got one a couple days ago, (declined as it was pool and was 5pm, so preferred to actually wait). I used DF as I almost always do to DIA. I'm assuming as long as you click the "remove destination" after ending trip, rather than logging out and back on, you'll be fine.

I had ended the ride, clicked the "remove DF" box, and got one leaving the east ramp.

I got my first rematch around 9-10 last night. Yeah, it's pretty sweet, but what about the poor slo ... er, fellow drivers who are stuck in the queue/lot? This undoubtedly makes their wait longer, no?

Now that I have to be pretty far east to even see the queue length, I have way fewer situations where I'm tempted to deadhead to the lot, and rematch would seem to make doing so less attractive.

Related: my rematch PAX was shown as Terminal West, Door 602. I get there and no rider ... so I call and she's at Door 603 on the east side. She thinks she's just one door away lol.

Also: didn't Lyft turn on rematch seemingly at the same time? Do you think this is an airport management dictum/agreement to further reduce congestion?

Well yesterday the que was 199 U so it may take a while for some of these guys to catch on Deadheading out there won't be as profitable.

I deadheaded out Sunday night Que was 1 as soon as I hit the lot I was off but I like the fact if you can get a return ping chance on your DIA runs

Yes it did slow the queues down, considerably. Almost to a stand still. Very frustrating when this is our only source of income. So far I'm at half my earnings but hey, I'm glad people who weren't doing the airport are making double the $ now. While those who have sat for hours in FIFO now sit longer and make half of their normal earnings. Kudos . sorry I'm just a little frustrated.

Well - I did my usual after work DF DIA ride, planned to deadhead back home downtown since I have plans later. After ending the trip I closed the DF, stalled to check my email for about 30 seconds, and got a ping driving on the outbound ramp. Nice ride to Stapleton would not have had.

For five airport runs this week had two immediate pings after - 40%. (both in the evening)

On the downside, the queue yesterday evening was far slower than a normal weekday 5-7pm. So obviously this is a regular thing now. Can't imagine the countdown during the daytime.

When you set dia as your df does it give you a warning saying you may not get trips heading that way. Or that dia is not a valid location

Nope mine is works perfectly. From my primary locations (work, home, downtown) and accepting only the right locations and the right time of day I can usually get a DIA run 4/5 times.

I don't think anyone in the other thread ascertained why some have it and some do not.

Welp, had another on Select-only to the airport... set my timer for 2 minutes, waited after dropping pax off... nothing unfortunately. Select you could sit at spot #1 for a while tho (even without scammers) so that kinda sucks.

I'm typically on Select-only when I am taking people to the airport, so it seems re-match may not work for me. Oh well, it was a good thought...

I've also looked at staying these last few days - with re-match now, the queue (even on X) just crawls... I don't mind waiting an hour or so if it means I can reduce dead miles, but I'm not waiting 2+ for an extra $20...

Oy. Re-match is a blessing and a curse it seems.

I would like to know the percentage of drivers who get a rematch. The queues are moving crazy slow. So I would there's a lot of rematches but I'm also hearing there's a lot that are not getting rematch. Which makes me think something else maybe going on . . . My select ride I got yesterday to Green Valley Ranch:mad: said they were told it would be 35 minutes before an X get to them. So they decided to order select. I personally have heard this three other times but with as slow as the queues are moving and with as many drivers that are out there, why would Uber do that?;)
