Interesting. So now DD is sending me AAP pings, too. But those are very different pings.

Still meh, but much more reasonable.

Dare I say it - they’re decent! Obvi not for all areas, but for slower ones - they’re ok.

Curious that they’re only “DoorDash Pay”. Flat.

So the million few dollar question is: How come UE only pays $2 for the same crap? It’s usually a flat $2, sometimes $2.50. Once I saw $3-something, but it was going almost 10 miles.

UE, we need an explanation. That’s a big difference.

I always saw it for 7-10$ on DD. I stopped taking them because no tips.

It's like any other order you see for $2. If ue offered you a mcd order for $2 and you see it on DD for $5-10, it could be temporarily ""subsidized" by one company but not another.

DD shop and pay orders have had base pay of $8-16$ recently, although they could start offering $2 once they get enough shoppers taking orders.

Answer: Dara knows some Ant will grab those orders so they can have Diamond Status without knowing Diamond Status is worthless as a delivery driver and even worthless as a X driver…

I declined an offer from a truck parts distributor today that was 30 bucks for 36 miles one way today.

I'll tell you how it is as a car guy. All the auto parts stores have had delivery for decades. Just call up Advanced Auto and ask what does it cost to have a part delivered and they will tell you $30 to $40 here in Minneapolis your location will be different. That is why DoorDash is $5 or $10. It's because someone is making a ton of money and it's not you. Uber is less because they are a cheap sob company that like to make money off the people working for them. Myself I can't do these deliveries. The loss of income is too great. Tipping delivery customers or rideshare pays more.
