Why would you ask here and not ask Uber and Lyft directly? Better yet just add it in the app and see if they approve it.

Because I haven’t picked up the car yet from the dealer that’s why I’m asking. If I need to change anything I can let the dealer know to change the paperwork.

Yes you can. I use a car under me and one under my wife's name. As long as you are listed as a driver on her insurance your all set. When you send it to uber make sure they see your name or they will reject it.

I still don't understand why you wouldn't just ask Uber and Lyft directly and get the correct information. Instead of coming here looking for opinions from drivers who may or may not know the rules.

I think I had to call them to add an additional car.
