Why is it that instead of whining that uber drivers don't need to make extortion payments, sorry, pay for taxi medallions, and w/e else you cry babies complain over, why not ask yourself "well, why do we need taxi medallions, why do we need to pay the PPA fees, etc?".
"Oh, it's not fair we're overly regulated by a private, corrupt out the ass, business, in the PPA, and uberx isn't. Make them pay fees too". Yea, maybe you should be saying "well if they don't need medallions, we're not going to medallions".
