I was in the surge zone. 1.6x request came in, I accepted. One minute later, another 0 surge request came in. Ok, I accepted.

Then I checked. The 1.6x ride disappeared!! I didn’t see the “ride cancelled” message. Then I canceled the 0 surge ride. Waited for another surge ride but didn’t happen.

WTF. It happened a few times lately.

i have seen this as well

the trip disappears and sometimes it says network error, trip canceled or nothing....

i have had pool requests and stacked pings go away with no notification too, some of these are surge some not

I think that there's an occasional glitch on Uber's end. I actually accepted one of those trips which disappeared as I was heading towards Kenmore Sq. Then I accepted and locked in a second one, and I had some people wave me down just before I reached the pin. I thought maybe the address was off, but turns out Uber double booked me. The trip that vanished on my screen was still active for that passenger, even though I had a new passenger logged on my end.
